im back x

I am welcoming myself back after a bit of break from blogging x i have still remained on my mission to get organised and am slowly winning. Skirts and trousers are now sorted out! yay x

bathroom organising with joy!

Im happy to report that i did my reorganisation of the upstairs bathroom today. Well there was a good amount of empty bottles and lots of other joys. I really enjoyed doing it and am really so excited that a great friend is coming to stay for a couple of days from tomorrow. Potentially no blog for the next few days as i will be entertaining two guests and undoubtedly laughing lots. However the new shelves from ikea will be coming tomorrow for this pile of books to live on.

An hour of organisation in the garden

So today i have done an hour in the garden so far, tidying and organising it! I think its great to see lovely results from hard work. Tomorrow i will be making sure the house is sparkling clean as i have a friend visiting from Scotland on wednesday till friday, so its tidy, tidy and tidy. My friend moved outof here into her new place yesterday so its all go here. I had the smear done this morning, busy busy life equals full and varied life...... yippee to that.

Two hot days in a row...its a miracle

Another blazing hot day today so it was garden organising again. Its so beautiful out there and i really needed to deweed the pathway and move tables and chairs etc. Im so happy and we worked so hard out there in mega heat x phew x We did have fun too with the little sweetness herself. PRICELESS SUNDAYS ARE WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT X

The heat The heat The Heat the heat...oh did i mention the heat! There is no way i am organising anything to day it is way way way too hot! I ventured out into the furnace..oh i mean the garden and i thought i would just post some beautiful things i found on my garden adventure.....i did pull a few weeds does that count hee hee. The lovely guy is such a trooper he even cut the grass x

Garden organising day

I decided to get out and get some vitamin d today and sunshine and tidy the veg beds that we have stewing away nicely ready for planting next year. I ws pulling weeds like a mad women opened up the recycle bin and hey presto and ants nest.....they were sweet until they started biting me, ouchy. Im going back out tommorow to finish it off and persuade the lovely man to cut the grass! I have so many great plans for the garden, once the house is finished. I am really loving the idea of a succulent container garden! So my organisation involved a lot of sweat and ant bites hee hee. I got some new glasses so couldnt wait for a cold drink!

recipe organising

Today was the day of recipe organising, i had recently purchased a Jamie Oliver recipe box which had a really cool recipe holder attached to the top. Awesomely it also had a small note book and some really nice fold out cards with plenty of room. My other box is included which is just a note card box with inserts and section cards. I also have shown my recipe book storage as i am a vegan/ vegetarian recipe book addict as i love to browse recipes and try new things. I have started my new box and am absolutely loving it, i think these things are classic things that you can hand down to children or share with friends...ideal.

Under sofa surfing

Woooow.....A very scary place that i hadnt explored for a long time was under the living room sofas. They morph into inanimate objects in the room and i dont know why but I always forget to get under them and clean. Well today was a real eye opener, i found sooo many single shoes......why why why. Lots of wrappers of eaten food, lots of items from the small one random nuts and popcorn to name but a few. They are all sparkly clean and hoovered to within an inch of there lives. It feels great only one more to go and the day bed ( which i think is already sorted out, THANK GOODNESS). I do love getting the sofas done and heading forward into a more organised tomorrow. Yippee x

Today it was the turn of the small cupboard in the front room to get a makeover. I decided to sort out the gaming bits and folders etc. I also sorted out the bhuddas and did some general dusting, so have been busy busy busy x Still on track to organised x i have also cut up some boxes for storage in draws until i find something better x

Little ones room and other things x

Today after spending lots of time in bed was the day of tidy and organise. I decided my bra drawer needed some attention and my bandanas (which were all stuffed in a drawer)needed a special organised place. My attack on the little ones bedroom was monumentus, toys, tissues ripped to pieces, hanger sorting, clothes sorting etc. I feel great having all her little things organised. The scarves are all done and in there own place now yippee. I used 3 storage boxes inside the drawer to sort my bras into colour and function, hoorah all done x

I thought i would post today about my love of pinterest ( its a place for collecting, storing and organising your web browsing )....its just brilliant. I have several pages for all my interests ideas and loves and i just cant get enough of that pinning stuff. I found som,e interesting ideas on pinterest from some awesome blogs that other people had posted. Ever since this journey i am so thankful for the inspiration i am given by others its enlightening to say the least. Happy looking. Seriously join pinterest its addictively wonderful.

makeup bag sorting

I needed to update my blog today so it became makeup sorting day. I had three areas for the makeup to live and it was full to the brim with other rubbish, i started by deciding on what would be the function of each area. I decided on one makeup bag for everyday makeup and one other for storing going out and funky makeup. When sorting i was truly amazed by the things i had forgotten i had purchased, wow new makeup. I had some things stashed in a metal case which i spent time cleaning out and a couple of makeup bags one for lips and one for eyes. This worked really well and was much easier to find. I have included some pics of my cruelty free makeup finds as I am so against animal testing that its essential to find a kind that ticks my vegan box. I washed my makeup powder puffs, applicators and brushes which are essential to keep everything clean and tidy x
